The Book of ACTS

The Book of Acts

It can be hard to figure out life on your own. What should church be like? What should we be doing? What does it look like for God to be at work through us in  mission? We should learn from those who have gone before us. So come join us as we go through the book of Acts and look at the early church. As we see their life and see God at work by the same Spirit that we have, we will be envisioned for our Christian lives and encouraged to play our part in God’s mission to spread the gospel.

Previous Sermon Series

At Watermark, we generally like to teach through books of the Bible in our Sunday services. Below are a few of our latest sermon series. Click the series banner below to go to that series, or find all of our previous sermons in our sermons library.

Resurrection Sunday

Resurrection Sunday

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the ultimate good news, of the good news of the gospel. As wonderful as it is that Jesus died for our sins; it is even more wonderful that he rose again. This Sunday we celebrate the joy of Christ’s resurrection and the hope and new life He offers.

Living Distinctively

John’s Gospel

Everyone in the world is searching for happiness, but where can we find it? Nothing in the world can truly satisify our hunger, so maybe we should look outside this world. John’s biography of Jesus shows us how the eternal Son of God came to this earth to offer us life. No matter who you are, as we journey through John’s Gospel, Jesus invites us to come and experience true life in him.

Living Distinctively

Ruth

What are we in need of? For some, its money and resources, for others, its relationships. Ruth and Naomi were in survival mode and in need of both (and a whole lot more). Join us as we unpack the book of Ruth, which paints a beautiful picture of God’s steadfast love and ultimately points us to the bigger picture of the love of God in Christ Jesus and the gospel.

Living Distinctively

Stand-alone – Nothing Matters More

As many people are away for Chinese New Year, we will take a break from the book of Ruth, so that everyone can hear the conclusion of the book next week. This Sunday will be a stand-alone New Year’s message.

Living Distinctively

New Year Message

As we start a new year, we go back to God’s Word and look at the gospel, to receive a fresh vision to drive the life and ministry of Watermark this coming year.

Living Distinctively

Thanksgiving

As we reach the end of the year, we want to look back with thanks to all that God has done this year, and let it fuel our faith for the year ahead.
